THE COMPANY

The Carrie Hayes Collection is a womenswear collection focused on expert tailoring, artisanal prints and luxurious modern finishes. It was born from the belief that women want fashion with meaning: they want to know the story behind the clothes.  

Carrie takes inspiration from architecture, science and nature and fuses it with expert tailoring to create unique dresses for red carpets and cocktail events.  She designs the prints in the collection using everything from photography to tablet sketching and painting.  The result is a seamless integration between raw material and the shape of the final piece. 

The themes in Carrie’s collections are hard-edged and thoughtful; they’re imbued with an enigmatic wit.  Her style of craftsmanship is characterized by polar opposites.  Her garments are at once soft, and rigidly constructed: a flowing skirt might be underpinned with a hidden corset.

The Carrie Hayes Collection is a bespoke collection.  It is tailored to each client, going through multiple revisions before being cut in its final fabric.  Each piece is sewn in Canada, using a seamstress with more than 30 years of experience.  Every detail is accounted for - from taped interior seams to hand-sewn hemlines. This result is a finished piece with unmatched fit and quality.
